 Kelly
Kelly grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and attended Garden Spot High School. She always had a love of weddings, and the bridal industry. Like many women, she has enjoyed dreaming and researching for her own future wedding since childhood. Fashion was another passion of hers, leading her to a well-deserved acceptance into the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. There she majored in Fashion Merchandising. During her second year in the city she had the wonderful opportunity to work for a top bridal shop, Designer Loft. Kelly worked first hand with brides in helping them find the wedding gown of their dreams. The company also hired her as an intern to help launch and market the Kirstie Kelly for Disney bridal line.
After receiving her Associates Degree, Kelly decided to move back to Lancaster to pursue a wedding planning career. She met Jonnaysa Kirkham earlier that year and heard about her successful planning business. Upon returning from school, Jonnaysa hired Kelly on as an apprentice. She just couldn't wait to learn the ropes, and progress into one day coordinating on her own as well.
Now through all the experience with Planned Perfection under her belt, she is able to do so. In 2009 Kelly continued assisting Jonnaysa with many weddings as well as coordinating several of her own. The weddings were a great success and accomplishment. The joyous expressions on the couples' faces are the most gratifying part of the job and she can't wait to get started on the weddings in 2010.
