Sarah and Troy

At the end of May we celebrated Sarah and Troy’s wedding!  The beautiful ceremony was held in Lebanon with a reception to follow at Bent Creek Country Club.  What a stunning couple they were.  I enjoyed working with Sarah and her mom up until the big day!  They were so easy going and had so many great ideas!

We enjoyed working with Todd Spitler for the first time!  What a great guy and his images were amazing.  Take a peak below.  We were also happy to work with Bent Creek, Occasions DJs, All Things Beautiful, Lavon Films,  Special Occasions linens and Designs by Renee.

The day went off without a hitch.  It down poured before the start of the ceremony but you know what they say about that!  And other then getting a phone call the night before alerting me that one of the limos was without air and they were working on it, all went as planned.  The limo was fixed and ready for the big day.

Sarah and Troy chose not to see each other before the big moment.  Here are some pictures beforehand.

Anne and Jason at The Lancaster Marriott Hotel

All these beautiful images are provided by Matthew Tennison!

This post is long over due and I have no idea where to even begin!  I first met Anne and her mother at Prince Street Cafe downtown Lancaster what seemed like forever ago.  It was at that point Anne had chosen her venue, the Lancaster Marriott and had come to me to help bring everything together!

We got to work right away selecting everything from her baker, florist, stationer, linens, event designer and more!  Anne and Jason lived in New York, so we made every trip home count!  I enjoyed my emails and calls with Anne, she was always so sweet!  We also loved meeting at some of my favorite places, i.e., Rachels and Fractured Prune!

As the planning progressed we put together a mock reception set up so Anne could better visualize how her reception and ceremony flowers, lighting, linens would look.  It was so nice to work with Stacia from  Petals with Style who brought many different concepts to the table, literally, and we were able to play with how and where those arrangements would go.

The wedding rehearsal was upon us, and Anne and Jason were relaxed as ever.  After practice everyone headed over to a wonderful rehearsal dinner at John J. Jeffries which was so nice for the parties to catch up and prepare for the big day.  The best man and also brother of the groom prepared a phenomenal video, interviewing candidates to replace Jason, as his brother.  It was hysterical and well done.

On the wedding day, we arrived early to start set up and oversee all the wedding day logistics.  We stopped in first to deliver lunch to the girls and check in with Anne.  She was so beautiful and just beaming with happiness.

Anne was such a stunning bride, inside and out!

Ahh the bow tie! Jason, was very proud he mastered it himself! It looked perfect, he did a spectacular job!

Just lovely

What a beautiful day they had!

Taking Anne to see Jason was my most favorite moment of the day.  Once the ceremony site was all set up and ready to go, we were about to go get Jason from his hotel room and get him in place when to my surprise Jason walks in the room and says, “I’m ready!”  He just stood there at the alter, waiting patiently for his bride!  He was on time, and so excited to see Anne.  I was giddy with excitement to bring her to see him!  What an amazing moment!

Planner in action...we were making our way into the ceremony room for Anne to see her groom for the first time! Such a magical moment!

Intimate and gorgeous ceremony location

Reception is ready to go!

During the reception we loved how Anne honored her mother by paying tribute to her 5 year wedding anniversary with her husband.  We had the wonderful band, The Janis Nowlan band announce the anniversary play a special song for them to dance to, then the Marriott staff brought out a surprise cake specially made by Rosie’s Creative Cakes.  It was a sweet moment!

Love, Jessica did all the beautiful stationary from the table numbers, escort cards, invitations menus and programs!

Yummy sweets table!

Thank you to Anne and Jason and families for allowing us to be a part of your most wonderful day!  You were both beaming with love and joy for each other and it was evident for all who attended.

Thanks to all the outstanding vendors who helped to make this wedding a success!

Beth and Charlie – May 14, 2011

I am so excited to share with you these images from Beth and Charlie’s wedding day.  Beth had contacted me over a year ago to come on board for Day of Coordination.

A beautiful ceremony was planned at the groom’s church in Lititz, PA and then the reception followed at the groom’s parents house under a tent.

My intern Kim and Marah had arrived to  Charlie’s parents house to set up the linens, table centerpieces, the favors, and all the other reception decor.  Meanwhile I arrived to the ceremony site to help make sure everything ran smoothly there.

Other than a few rain drops the day was beautiful, and went off without a hitch!!

We enjoyed working so much with Kiersten of Prema Photographica!  What a sweetheart she was, and the images, are just so amazing.  She does gorgeous work.  Just see for yourself below.  I most definitely hope to work with her again in the future.

Beth and Charlie, you were such a sweet couple to work with.  Your happiness was quite evident throughout the day!  I wish you nothing but the best.  Congratulations again to the both of you.

Thank you also to the following vendors for making the day seamless:

Artistic Foods Catering

Tents for Rent

Top Hat DJs

Petals with Style

Prema Photographica

Cupcakes (bride and family baked)

Maria and Pedro

Maria and Pedro are a wonderful couple and I had so much fun planning all the details of their wedding day with them.  I first met wit Maria and Pedro 27 days before their wedding day.  Originally they wanted a wedding at their home.  Halfway through our first meeting they decided that another location might be better.  The location and all the vendor selections were made within a week of that initial meeting.

The weather was challenging as we kept our eyes on the sky in hopes of giving Maria the outdoor ceremony that she wanted at the Rotunda at Lauxmont Farms.   We were able to make her dreams come true and as she walked down the aisle the rains held off for the duration of the ceremony and cocktail hour.   It was such a pleasure to work with the JDK group.  They did an amazing job with the floral elements, lighting and the catering.  Matt from Occasions DJ’s kept everyone moving on the dance floor for the evening.  Lauren from Jeremy Hess Photography captured all the wonderful moments that a bride and groom will cherish for a lifetime and James Knightly was there to put it all into video.  I don’ want to forget to mention Bella Manse made a super yummy cake. We had a great time and wish Maria and Pedro a lifetime of happiness!

Thank you to the following vendors for making this a memorable day.

Leigh and Matt at Cameron Estate Inn

On April 30, 2011 Planned Perfection had the honor of coordinating Leigh and Matt’s ceremony and reception.  What a gorgeous 70 degree and sunny day they had!  I knew as soon as I had met Leigh that this wedding would be classic and chic, with her simple yet amazing style!

Leigh and Matt were so relaxed throughout the whole day, and very easy going.  When you don’t sweat the small stuff, it rubs off on your guests and everyone around you!  Everybody was enjoying themselves and having such a wonderful time.  All in all the day was a success…with the exception of a few safety pins here and there, it was perfect!!

We also got the opportunity to work with Graybill Photography and Steve from Occasions Djs.  These vendors were definitely an asset to the day!

Thanks Dan and Sunny for sharing the below images with us!

The Team (Left to Right):  Diana, Jonnaysa and Katie (one of our new interns!) Welcome aboard Katie!

Congratulations and Best Wishes to Leigh and Matt.  It was such a pleasure to work for you.

Prince William and Princess Kate

I was so happy to get up at 5 a.m.  and watch history unfold!  Princess Kate was stunning!  I am hearing a lot of talk that people wished it would have been a little more.  I loved how simple it was, an understated beauty, classic and a timeless gown.  This was an Alexander McQueen dress designed by Sarah Burton.  Gorgeous!

Image from Style Me Pretty’s website!

I also immediately fell in love with Pippa’s (Kate’s sister) bridesmaid gown.

Maid of honor Pippa Middleton wore, like the bride, a Sarah Burton creation made of a heavy, ivory satin-based crepe, with a cowl front. It has the same button detail and lace trims as her sister’s stunning bridal gown.

I continued to watch the ceremony unfold, and was just amazed.  I think they said 1900 in Westminster Abbey….can you imagine?!?!

I sat patiently and awaited the kiss.  When I saw it happen, I was a little said and thought really…that’s it.  But then, to my surprise, we got a second one!  I was then satisfied :)

I can’t wait to see images pop up the reception and her dress change later in the evening!

Congratulations to the Royal Couple!!

Alexis and Jimmy

Wow, what can I say…I thought my February bride was the most organized I’ve ever seen…Alexis was right there with her!  If this is a trend this year, I can’t complain.  On April 1, 2011 we celebrated Alexis and Jimmy’s beautiful wedding and reception held at The Cork Factory Hotel.  It was such an honor and pleasure to work with them both.  Planned Perfection helped bring some key vendors together for the couple, pick out all the linens and executed entire day of planning and coordination.

Alexis was such a stunning bride, which such class!  Her details and planning all came together so beautifully.  The day went as planned with only one small hiccup.  When we realized the whoopie pies were not delivered at the specified time, we called the vendor and found out they thought the wedding was on the next day….hmmm.  Good thing there was a planner there checking and double checking :)   They arrived just in time and no one would have known anything was wrong!

We enjoyed working with some of our favorite Lancaster Vendors.  A big thanks to The Cork Factory Hotel, Lauren Fisher of Jeremy Hess Photographers, Studio Jenz, DJ Freez, Special Occasions linens, The Smith Factory, James Knightly (videographer) and Elite Coach!

Take a sneak peak at some beautiful images from Lauren Fisher of Jeremy Hess Photographers!

Congratulations again to Alexis and Jimmy!  You were such an amazing couple and I wish you nothing but the best!!
