I have to apologize for the long vacation I seem to have taken from the blog. After Best of Weddings I had a lot of down time, which was great…but I don’t think my body knew what to do with itself. I was sick off and on, and then it hit full force last Saturday and I am now just feeling a bit of energy to get some images on the blog.

The show was a great success and I’ll keep the recap for another post. Without further ado some of my most favorite images.

So sorry for the lack of blogging lately.  I  have lots to share with you but have been taking a bit of a hiatus to rest up and relax!  Stay tuned…we have lots of pictures to share from Best of Weddings and some exciting news for Planned Perfection.

Well we are getting down to the wire and I can’t believe this event is less than 3 weeks away! The energy I have is the same that I get the week of Christmas! I am so excited to showcase to all of you the most FABULOUS vendors, and how creative of an industry we have, right here in LANCASTER!

Freedom Hall A: Main Level 1(Decor will be Indian, Tuscan, Miami Beach and Asian)
Commonwealth Ballroom: Level 2 (Decor will be Hollywood Glamor, Black/White, Bright Colors and Nature)
Heritage Ballroom: Level 3 (Decor will be the 4 seasons)

A Man Lounge, equipped with flat screen tv’s with the game on, beer on tap and plenty of room to relax.

A Couture Fashion Show, dramatic lighting, awesome music by DJ Freez, and the best in best attire by Janell Berte, Pappagallo and Banana Republic.

Live Ballroom Dancers featuring “The First Dance.”

Some of the best salons, travel companies, transportation providers and jewelers and not to mention some of our favorite downtown boutiques!

Last weekend Kelly and I had the absolute pleasure of coordinating Kristi and Jeff’s beautiful wedding downtown Lancaster!  The Church located on Duke street was absolutely beautiful and just a walk across the street, through the parking garage was their reception site, The Lancaster Marriott!

Kristi had such beautiful details!  All the paper stationary was designed by her and was so pretty!  Not to mention the fabulous Candy Buffet she had that coordinated so well with her overall look and feel of the event.

I was also excited for this event because I had the pleasure of seeing 3 of my past clients, Kathy and Hayden (I don’t have a link because it was from before I started blogging), Diana and Scott, and Rachel and Brett!

I also have to note, the bridesmaids dresses were so elegant and beautiful and complimented the bride’s dress very well!  And the mothers of the bride were so classy in their black floorlength gowns…stunning!

Last Sunday Diana and I had the pleasure of being a part of Jessica and Greg’s beautiful wedding ceremony and reception at The Leola Village Inn, Casa Di Fiori…which we just love soooo much.  I met with Vivi (Mother of the Bride) and Jessica over a year ago when they first came to me for assistance.  Because they are not from the area, Diana of Planned Perfection worked on creating a wedding filled weekend for the bridal party, families and all friends.  Unfortunately, the weather had other plans for everyone   Nonetheless, the wedding was beautiful.

From the very intimate Jewish Ceremony to the oh so heartfelt speech from the groom…ladies he brought out excerpts from his journal, that the bride had never heard before, and read from the days that he first met Jessica and just knew she was the one (even though she had a boyfriend of 7 months at the time), to the their first kiss and all of their great moments together.  It definitely was a tear jerker, especially when the groom him self was getting chocked up and the bride was sobbing.  Oh I’m a sucker for it all!!

I have never seen a couple so at ease with each other and so in love.  They just knew each other inside and out and complimented each other so well.  (side note:  they dated for 17 years before this day!)

The reception had great food, dancing and of course the fun filled Hora!
