Lindsey and Joe – March 10

Lindsey and Joe were such a beautiful, warm, and loving couple to work with.

I had the privilege for the 2nd wedding of the season, to again, be at the beautiful Cork Factory Hotel. The details were stunning at this wedding and the Bride and Groom were show stoppers!

How cute is this flower girl...seriously?!

Joe and Lindsey decided to do a “first look” before the ceremony and it was soo cute! You could tell Joe was anxious/nervous and couldn’t wait to see his Bride.

The lovely first look

The ceremony was beautiful and intimate, and officiated by one of my dear friends, Kelly Fuddy. I met Kelly back in the legal world before we had any idea our paths would continue in the wedding industry. Kelly does a phenomenal job getting to know the couple, implementing personal touches throughout the ceremony and really making it unique to the couple. She is with Journeys of the Heart and you must contact her if you are still looking for an officiant.

I just love the floral design that Lori from Wildflowers by Design created for this event. We have done quite a lot of weddings at Cork, and this time the ceremony aisle stood out a little more! They decided to use ALL the floral centerpieces in the aisle. This was so nice for a few reasons. 1. It allowed the clients to get the most of their money. Utilizing the flowers for the entire event, instead of just the reception. 2. It gave a much bigger wow factor walking down the aisle to many beautiful lush flowers. 3. It did not ruin the element of surprise for the reception tables because everything was then split up and grouped differently onto the table tops! Oh how i just died looking at this set up, soooo romantic!

The evening continued with dinner and dancing and was a huge success. I loved working with the kind and most talented Brooke Courtney Photography, who provided these beautiful images to gush upon!  You must go to their site, and also check out their blog post on this event, and of course all of their amazing work!   The dance floor was packed throughout the evening because of Matthew Cleveland from Occasions DJs! He always does an outstanding job.

This day was nothing short of stellar and it wouldn’t have been possible with out the hard work of such talented individuals. A big thanks to the following:

First Wedding of 2012 – Nicole and Owen

Beautiful wedding gown in the bride’s suite at Cork Factory Hotel

I am going to try really hard to blog better this year!  I seemed to have gotten way behind on blogging my late summer and fall weddings last season, so you will see some of them popping up throughout this year.

So to start fresh, on January 21, 2012 we coordinated a beautiful winter wedding (and i must say i think it was only the 2nd snow of the entire winter), so it was nice to see it as a backdrop for this wedding at Cork Factory Hotel.

When i first met Nicole and Owen I knew it was going to be a beautiful wedding.  Nicole being a designer, wanted to handle all of the design and details herself, and she did the most amazing job!

The ceremony was held at Cork Factory Hotel and incorporated some beautiful moments of the couple bringing Nicole’s son into the marriage.  While the room was being flipped the guests enjoyed cocktail hour and were soon ushered in to the transformed ballroom for dinner.

We just love Cork Factory Weddings.  The staff is WONDERFUL, ACCOMMODATING, and on top of everything!  It always makes for a great night when all the vendors are on the same page, and have the same goal in mind!

This wedding had an all-star team of event professionals:

Cork Factory Hotel – Ceremony and Reception

Rev. Kelly Jo Singleton – officiant

The Wiebners – Photography

DJ Freez – Entertainment (Music and Lighting)

The Couture Cakery – Phenomenal Dessert Table and Cupcakes

Wildflowers by Design – Flowers

A big congratulations to Nicole and Owen.  It was a pleasure working with you and your families!
