Kris and Katie’s Black Friday Wedding

On Friday, November 26, 2010 I had the pleasure of working with Katie and Kris and their families!  What a wonderful day and and a beautiful wedding.  Most black Friday’s I am used to waking up at the wee hours and going out with all the crazies to do some good ole shopping.  It was refreshing to have an event on this day, where so many family and friends traveled near and far to celebrate the love of these two.  300 to be exact!!

The day started out with Planned Perfection arriving at the The Eden resort to pick up some ceremony items from the couple.  Carmina Cristina was their doing beautiful make-up on the bride and her mom.  The guys had started getting their pre-ceremony pictures and all the beautiful flowers were being put out by All Things Beautiful.  I then headed to St. John Neuman’s to prepare for the ceremony.

Katie was so cute, tears of happiness streamed down her face as she walked down the aisle.  After the ceremony it was then Kris who was crying tears of joy!!  The reception was so beautiful.  The staff at The Eden did a tremendous job, as always.  It was a pleasure to work with our favorite, KM Photography.  Also a new favorite…the band EBE Imagine…was AWESOME!  Bella Manse provided a beautiful cake and we worked with Aubert films for the first time.  Can’t wait to see their clip of the day!

Below are some snap shots I was able to take, until the real thing deal from KM Photography!

Congratulations again to Katie and Kris and your wonderful families!!

Stephanie and Kristopher – 10/22/10

A few weeks ago I had the great pleasure of working with such a fun and enthusiastic couple.   Stephanie, Kris, and their families made it such a joy for me to help and make their day beautiful and stress free.

The ceremony took place at Faith EC Church on Old Philadelphia Pike. They invited Pastor Bruce Sellers to officiate and his wife Linda to provide the music. They were both well prepared and very personable; Linda even took the couple’s request and played the Notre Dame Victory March.

The family put together all of the floral arrangements for the reception, which took place at the Eden Resort, in the Courtyard.  Cyndi and the Staff of the Eden are always on their toes and of great help.  I was very happy to work with all the vendors. Matthew Cleveland of Occasions DJs is always a pleasure; as he is so organized and ready to get people on their feet. Central Manor Bakery created a beautiful and tasty 4 tier cake.  Also, Joey of Big City Video was busy commemorating the day for Steph and Kris.  Finally, I would like to thank Regina Martin and her husband of Radiant Images who were amazing to work with and happy to provide the photos for our blog!

Congratulations Steph and Kris!! We wish you the best in all the years to come.

Thank you so much to the great family and vendors I had the privilege of working with!

Celebrate’s Launch Party

Last month I attended a fantastic launch party for Lancaster’s new and best resource for all things events, Fig’s Celebrate Magazine.  Fabulous Lancaster Wedding and Special Event vendors were in attendance!  From the delicious food provided by Cork Factory and the awesome lighting by Shumaker PDT the room looked and smelled wonderful.  Flowers were provided by Splints and Daisies, Music by DJ Freez and linens by Special Occasions.  All of the beautiful images below are done by the wonderful Lauren Fisher of Elle Photography.

Anita and Brian at Cork Factory Hotel

On October 24th Planned Perfection had a wonderful time working with Anita and Brian.  This beautiful Fall day set the tone for an amazing celebration!  The ceremony and reception were held at the Cork Factory in Lancaster.  This was a very intimate gathering of close friends and family.  The ballroom was decorated in beautiful green and cream flowers.  The bride walked down the aisle lined with different sized jars of roses, button mums, Bells of Ireland and berries.   It was very simple but elegant feeling as greens and candles lit up the background of their ceremony.  The celebration continued with a wonderful reception.  The flowers that lined the aisle were used as centerpieces on each table and accented by white candles.  The favors were cute little jars of pickles in memory of Anita’s grandmother.  It was a fabulous celebration from start to finish!

Please check out the Hoffer’s blog for more photos.   A special thank you to the following vendors and individuals that made this a truly memorable day for Anita and Brian:

Congratulations again to Anita and Brian!!

New addition to our family!

Hi Everyone!  Please be patient with me if I don’t respond to an email or telephone call right away.  We welcomed the birth of our baby girl, Molly Elizabeth  (surprise…I definitely thought it would be another boy) to our family on Tuesday, October 26.  She is so precious and I’m already dreaming of the day I get to help plan her wedding :)   I know…slow down right! ha.

Thanks Aunt Amanda for the pictures :)
