Kristin and Matt – 5/23/10

Wow, I don’t even know where to begin with this event.  I first met Kristin…about a year ago and we instantly clicked!  She was fun, sweet and so caring.  We got to work right away planning her event!  I had so much fun helping her with all the details and plans along the way.

She was going with a beautiful turquoise, and yellow/gold color scheme.  She had accent details everywhere from ceremony, cocktail and reception singns, confetti to toss, signs for the horse and carriage, menu cards, swizzle sticks with the bride/groom name on them, and so much more.

Right before her event we met to confirm final details and she had a thank you card and flowers from her garden.  I was so touched and appreciative of her thoughtfulness.  My job was. far from being done and she was already so greatful!

On the day of the wedding Planned Perfection showed up and got right to work starting with all the linens, chargers, favors, table numbers, and the list goes on with the reception details.  We then worked our way up to the cocktail and ceremony site!  I can thank thank Kelly, Mel and Amanda enough for all of your hard work in assisting with this wedding!  If it were not for you girls, it would not have been a success!

Kristin and Matt were so relaxed throughout the entire day and i was so happy to see them happy!  Congratulations to you both and thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be beside you in this planning adventure.  I hope you have a wonderful honeymoon and look forward to cathcing up when return!

In the meantime here are some snapshots I was able to take throughout the event.

Lauren and Chris 5/22/2010

Yesterday we celebrated the wedding of Lauren and Chris at The Sunken Gardens at Lauxmont Farms.  The weather ended up being beautiful for the ceremony and cocktail hour.  Lucky for us it didn’t start to rain until everyone was in the reception tent.  It actually ended up being really sunny for the cocktail hour and the back up tents we put up were perfect for shade!  So it was a win win situation.

Planned Perfection and team arrived at Lauxmont early to set up.  Thanks to Mel and Amanda who came on board to assist Diana and I, things ran very smoothly.  I couldn’t have asked for a better set of girls.  After going over all the set up logistics, the bridal party was on site and it was time to get things started.

With a pretty big bridal party, 11 guys and 9 girls we had our work cut out for us.  They were wonderful and the ceremony went off without a hitch.  Beautiful music was playing by Gliss and Air for ceremony and cocktails.  We love working with those ladies!

Reception kicked off with the band, Groovetown and wonderful food by Commonwealth Caterers.  Later guests enjoyed a beautiful designed and yummy cake from Bella Manse.

Below are some snapshots I was able to get, however, can’t wait to see the professional sneak peak from KM Photography!  They are just the best and we enjoy working with Kris and John so much!

Also a huge thank you to Shumaker PDT for setting up the beautiful tent design, and the tents at cocktail our and our sound system for the ceremony.  Rod and Andy were an absolute pleasure to work with.

We couldn’t have pulled off the event with the above mentioned vendors and also:  Special Occasions Linens, Designs by Renee, Petals and Beans and Elite Coach.

Congrats to Lauren and Chris!!! It was a pleasure working with you both.

Amy and Andrew

Last weekend Planned Perfection had the absolute joy of working with Amy and Andrew. They came to us about a year ago and were so fun to work with! Very laid back and easy going. They chose to get married at Hope United Methodist Church in Ephrata with a reception following at The Cork Factory Hotel.

The bride and groom chose to see each other before the ceremony which made coordinating a breeze. When we arrived at the reception the Cork Factory was beautiful and ready for guests arrival.

Thank you to Amy and Andrew for allowing us to be a part of your special day. Congrats and Best Wishes!

Here are some shots and a link to Leslie Gilbert’s blog with some awesome photos.

Also thanks to Rog, at Top Hat Entertainment who kept the dance floor packed.

Emily and Travis

Emily and Travis had the most beautiful spring wedding.  It was a little warm earlier in the day, but by the time the guest started arriving at 4:30 there was this gentle breeze in the air that was just perfect.  Kelly and I were very excited to be on board for Hoberg Wedding #2.  We did Emily’s sister’s wedding last October.  This wedding was held at Landis Valley.

We arrived early to set up the reception room and work on the ceremony site.  Thanks to my sister Melanie who came along to help with set-up.   It was beautiful.  We greatly enjoyed working with Rog from Top Hat Entertainment, Rettews Catering, Bella Manse, Petals and Beans and Milestone Images!  The day went as planned and the couple was such a joy to work with!

Below I’d like to share some images with you done by the wonderful Angie from Milestone Images.  She was so great to work with!
