Tamara and Ralph – March 26, 2010

On Friday, March 26, 2010 Kelly and I had the pleasure of coordinating Tamara and Ralph’s wedding!  They were just the sweetest couple ever and made our jobs so easy!  I first met Tamara and Ralph at our Best of Weddings Show in November.   We met shortly after and they decided to bring us on for the day of.

I loved Tamara’s color scheme from the beginning and knew it would look just fabulous in The Eden’s Courtyard.  Navy floor length linens with a deep purple topper and accents of lime green!

The ceremony was so beautiful, especially her grand entrance!  So emotional…she couldn’t stop tearing up before she walked down the aisle and her dad also did as well!  It was a perfect moment.

Below are some snap shots we were able to take while setting up.  Also check out Jasmine’s blog over at The Couture Cakery for more pictures!  We even made it to her blog.

Congratulations and Best Wishes to Tamara and Ralph!  It was a pleasure to work with you and your families!

Also thanks to the awesome vendors who helped make this wedding a success.

Baby Shower

This weekend I helped put together a baby shower for one of my very good friends! Her new bundle of joy will arrive in the middle of May and we are so excited for them! The baby’s gender is a surprise so the shower was a mix of green, orange, and yellow. Take a look at some of the pictures I snapped while setting up!

This is one of the gifts I got them. The main gift didnt arrive yet so I wanted them to open something.

Casner/Hake – New Year’s Eve

This post is long overdue but it was worth the wait.

I had the pleasure of meeting Megan and Dru when they first contacted me to help plan and coordinate their New Year’s Eve wedding to be held at Casa Di Fiori, one of our most favorite venues!  While planning this event, I just new it would be stunning.  From the fun meetings we had at Special Occasions picking out their most beautiful linens, to the strawberry shopping(yes I said strawberry shopping)…she wanted to get the most plump, juicy chocolate covered strawberries for her guests, to the detailed meetings with Jenz Yoder from Studio Jenz.  The plan was to completely change the Casa look to a purple and gold elegant mascaraed feel.  Jenz did just that with the changing of the orange curtains to white, up lit with gold lighting.  There were beautiful fabric accents all through the the reception, hanging from the ceiling, draped over the alter and in the cocktail room.  Feather’s were also a big accent to compliment this beautiful theme, on the ceremony and table chairs, in the bride’s bo-k and centerpieces masterfully done by Stacia from Petals and Beans and the cake – beautifully done by Martine from House of Clarendon.  No detail was left behind.

I really miss my almost daily emails between Megan and I.  She was such a sweet bride and her family so dear.  Everyone had their part in planning and did such a beautiful job.

Congratulations again to this wonderful couple.  It was an absolute pleasure to be part of your special day.
