Specialty Table Display

This display would be so pretty at a place card table, an entrance table, or even a photo/memory table. It is available to rent through Planned Perfection. Please email me or leave me a comment if you are interested.

Please excuse the bad photo and backdrop. I need to get a picture of the display actually at an event.

Same arrangement…different vase.
Of course we could dress this display up using the colors of your wedding by adding ribbon, hanging name cards or whatever you fancy.

Special Occasions and Queen Street Linens

~
~

Today I had the opportunity to tour the behind the scenes of Special O .  It was fantastic!  To see what happens to the linens before and after an event is just facinating!  Special O makes all of their linens on site, presses and quarters each napkin and has a wonderful showroom that is changing just about every month.  I wish I would have had my camera with me to capture some of the behind the scenes, but you’ll just have to wait until April when they have their seminar.  I’ll be sure to post some behind the scenes.  For now feast your eyes on their beautiful showroom.  So many colors and fabrics to choose from and beautiful displays to see.

After saying hello to Claudia and sitting down and talking details with Cynthia, I had a wonderful experience visiting the facilities of Special Occasions.  They have wonderful books to browse of their "real events."  One being a very thoughtful gift from the gals over at Hamilton Events, Inc.  You’ll have to stop by and see for yourself, the images and artful designs that Claudia and her team have put together for event after event is just stunning.

If your looking to start your event off on the right foot, start with the most eye catching element, the linens.  This will set the tone for your room and the look you are trying to achieve.

Diana and Scott

I can’t believe this day has come and gone.  I didn’t want it to end because I enjoyed meeting with Diana so much throughtout the entire planning process.  Diana you have grown near and dear to my heart and I can’t wait to get together in the future.  I have gained a great friendship with you and I truley value that.

Kelly M. was on board for this event and I thank you so much.  As always you are fabulous to work with and everything was a success, I couldn’t have done it without you!

The wedding ceremony and reception was held at The Liberty Place , downtown Lancaster.  The highlight was when Scott took over the mic and began the kereoke!  Fantastic!  The candy buffet was a hit as well as all of their wonderfully flavored cupcakes…their were five flavors!

Kris and her husband, John were there capturing all the moments.  They are so much fun and we always love working with KM Photography !  Can’t wait to see the images and of course we will let you know when they are available on her blog !

A big thank you to all of the wedding professionals who were on board:

Place card table.
I alphabetized all of these wonderful place cards only to have them all fall out in my car during a sharp turn on the way to the venue.  Nothing like doing it all over again!
Beautiful Flower spheres for the ceremony.  ATB did all of the flower arranagements.
Renee, you outdid yourself again!  These cupcakes were fantabulous and exactly what the bride and groom wanted!  Bella manse is the best.
The Candy buffet was a hit.
Apple Lime Martini centerpieces and smaller hand painted martini glasses.

U Oughtta Be on Chocolates

Seriously, you should be on chocolates, you will never taste so good!

Today I received a FedEx package and was so delighted to find special treats inside. Below are pictures of my business cards and a picture from my wedding day…transferred onto lollipop chocolates, business cards in an actual case and truffles. You can get dark or milk chocolate.

You have to check them out for yourself. These really are edible and so perfect for favors, bridal shower/baby shower gifts, to add into your candy buffet, birthday parties and so much more.

You can view all of their products on their website. www.yoboc.com. For a direct contact you can email Dave Bruner at info@yoboc.com.

Michelle and Randy Hsia

Well we woke up to a dreary morning but that surely didn’t put a damper on Michelle and Randy’s wedding day.

Starting at the church, Marah and I arrived at 2:00 p.m.  The ceremony was held at the beautiful Pequea Brethern in Christ.  We loved how simple and clean this church was.  It even had its own cafe and diner!  How awesome, especially for some fun non traditional photographs.

There were some very special moments planned in the ceremony, one including a Chinese tea ceremony.  So special!  After the ceremony the bride and groom surprised their guests with a swordsman arch exit!  Loved that tap on the behind!

The reception was held at the Historic Strasburg Inn.  David Haine and his staff were wonderful to work with.  A cocktail hour was originally planned to be held outside, but the weather had other plans for us.  It was moved into the beautiful brick foyer that opened up to the grande ballroom.

It was so great to work with Joann and Joe from Occasions DJs.  I first got to work with them back in May.  What a wonderful team!  They kept the dance floor moving all night long.

Douglas Benedict was fantastic.  This was my first time working with him and I certainly hope for another opportunity!  He was so incredible to work with and so nice.  This guy is full of talent and Michelle and Randy will have such a hard time picking their favorites!  I can’t wait to see some images and will share some with you as soon as they are ready.

What an absolutely beautiful couple.  Michelle you are just the sweetest!  I enjoyed our meetings and wedding prep…you were such a joy to work with.  Randy you are a true gentleman, so caring!  You were so attentive to all the wedding details!
