I have to take a moment and recommend Renee Schlotzhauer from Bella Manse, Artful Wedding Cakes. She is such a joy to work with and the cakes are so yummy. When you choose Bella Manse your possibilities are endless. From the wonderful, tasty buttercream, to the delicious most eye catching Fondant you can create the cake of your dreams. Don’t have the budget for a 4 tier cake, opt for a smaller design, created exactly the way you want it, with a bigger sheet cake in the back to be cut for all of your guests. This way you still get the look and feel you always envisoned your cake to be, within your budget.
Here is just a few of Bella Manse’s beautiful creations. Contact her today at bellamanse@hotmail.com for a consultation and to taste her scrumptious cakes.

Lime Street Stuidos of Lancaster, PA put up some pictures of Sara and Chad’s wedding, held at Landis Valley Musuem in June of 07. What a wonderful wedding it was. Barb and Fran, of Lime Street were fantastic to work with. Their professionalism and ability to caputre the most perfect shots, proves true in their work. This hotel is stunning. Originally a tobacco warehouse, now a modern place of luxury. With exposed brick throughout the entire hotel and amenities such as non-smoking rooms, flat screen tv’s complimentary continental breakfasts, fitness center, free wireless and complimentary shuttle withing 5-mile radius, just to name a few…this hotel sure makes me think.. i’ve escaped to another city, maybe Philadelphia or New York.
Mara Sultan, Director of Sales was gracious enough to give me a tour. If you haven’t seen this hotel you need to speak with her. You can contact her at
msultan@lancsterartshotel.com.
One thing that really got me excited is the Blanche Nevin Room. Perfect for a bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, or engagement party. It accomodates up to 60 people and has a wonderful outdoor terrance with a waterfall.
The hotel’s on-site restaraunt John J. Jeffries can accomodate private parties up to 100.

The rooms just took my breath away. I can not wait to book my stay!!
The suites are perfect for your wedding night, and also to get ready in before the big moment! They are plenty spacious and have luxurious furniture to relax. Here are a few pictures of the rooms.

I couldn’t resit some pictures of the lobby! Stop in if you are in the area, they feature local artists on First Fridays in their Art Gallery, which can also serve for a very small gathering of 20 people.

You can view rates and contact information here.

In doing research for one of my clients I came across some awesome pictures of very delicious looking cupcakes! You do not have to have the typical cupcake tower, to look like a cake. My clients are instead, having cupcake swirls/cirlces around a giant cupcake, as their cake. Yummy, I can’t wait!
