Hi everyone. Just got back from a wonderful weekend with friends. We traveled just a little over 3.5 hours to Luray, VA to see the beautiful views and relax in our wonderful rented cabin! The weather was absolutely perfect and aside from me getting sick on Saturday night, and now still feeling under the weather, it was a good getaway!!

My girlfriends and I got together the other night and got some great shots of our little ones. Man are they gonna be mad at us when they get older!! They were so cute though, all dressed up in the halloween gear!

Congratulations to Missy and Chris Grant!! Today I had the pleasure of coordinating their absolutely beautiful wedding ceremony. Missy had the most beautiful details..starting with her amazing rehearsal attire, that was a little sneak peak to what her girls would be wearing, to her amazing shoes, purse, the whole 9 yards. Missy put so much into her decor, starting with the gold glittering leaves that she spray painted and then glittered. They looked absolutely amazing. The beautiful, beautiful flowers were done by Kelly Steadman of All Things Beautiful. Each girl had a glittering monogramed initial hanging from their bo-k’s as well as the bride! Can’t wait for the professional pictures from Katrina Sollenberger and her team from Beyond the Moment Photography! Check back for the pics
Here are some snap shots that I took after decorating the pews with the leaves and tulle. And a pic or two from the ceremony…enjoy!

well it doesn’t always turn out that way, but i’ve really gotten into making diaper cakes. What a great gift to give a mother to be. Not only does it serve as a beautiful centerpiece or display at a shower, but it is useful with baby supplies hidden inside and all the diapers can be used when the baby arrives. If anyone is interested in ordering one, just shoot me an email, i’d love to design one for any mother to be!!

Many clients ask me about special touches they can do for their wedding day. My biggest piece of advice for is to make it personal! Anything that represents you and your Fiance will make it that more intimate and special. One of my favorite new finds is I Do Originals. There you can customize just about anything you want, aisle runners, table runners, parasols, unity candles, etc. The list goes on, and don’t be afraid to ask, if you have something you want to customize and it’s not on their website, just shoot and email.

Today my hubby, my son and myself decided to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. It was goregous out! We decided to take a hike to Chiquies Rock, in Wrightsville. This is the spot where my husband proposed and we had e-pics taken by the wonderful Katrina Sollenberger from Beyond the Moment Photography! So it is a very special place to us. Enjoy some of the pictures i took while we were there.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of coordinating Deb and Jay’s wedding. I felt completely honored and blessed to be part of such a special day. From the first sneak peak the couple got of each other, to the very moving and unique ceremony that brought me to tears and gave me goose bumps and then to the fun filled, packed dance floor reception! The event took place at the BRAND NEW Casi di Fori and it was absolutely Amazing! Deb and Jay were the very first wedding, …and how fun that the venu is located on Deborah Lane! The staff was so accomodating and you would never have know that this was the facilities first wedding. Stephanie Lambert was so sweet and I look forward so much to working with her again. If you are in need of a ceremony or reception location definitely check this place out! I also must comment that I worked with some of my very favorite vendors, the one and only Kelly Steadman and her team from All Things Beautiful did a magnificent job with all the flowers and the reception decor…and Kris and Macall from KMPhotography were so much fun and captured so many great moments! I can’t wait to post some pictures once she has them up!
Congratulations to Deb and Jay and both of their families! I thank you for allowing me to share in such a special day! Love-Jonnaysa
Stay tuned for wedding pictures…
