Janelle and Rich Hess

I can not even begin to tell you what an amazing day this was! God is so good :) Today Janelle and Rich were married at Pheasant Run Farm B&B. Vivian Able, the innkeeper and owner of the B&B is the sweetest lady you will ever meet! Her grounds are absolutely stunning and I can not wait to work with her in the future! Vivian told me that every time a wedding takes place, the birds start signing away!!

The day started off a little cloudy, some sprinkles here and there, but by 5:00 p.m. (show time) the sun came out full force! I couldn’t believe it….it was cloudy when Janelle walked down the aisle and as soon as she was standing with Rich the sun came out and didn’t go away for the rest of the evening.

The ceremony was flawless…Jannelle being the most stunning bride ever and Rich looking so handsome, how could it go wrong!

After the ceremony the guests made their way up to cocktail hour on the patio and enjoyed wonderful appetizers and cocktails. Rettew’s was their with a stunning food display and the dinner was soooooo yummy!!!!! Jenna from Rettew’s was so much fun and so on top of things! Oh and before I forget…Rich made his own wine!!!! I couldn’t believe it, what an awesome way to put your personal touch on your wedding day. I definitely took him up on his offer to take a bottle home to test it out!!!

Occasions got the party started, without delay. However, this time I got the wonderful opportunity to work with JoAnn Konopka and her husband Joe! What a FABULOUS team! They were so awesome and played the best tunes!

I hope you enjoy some pictures that I was able to capture from the day! Congratulations to you both…you and your families were a joy to work with :)

Ahhh look at that sun…

Yup, this is the wine that Rich made!! So amazing…

Sorry for my lack of blogging.  Things have been quite busy over here.

After the torrential downpours today, it stopped raining just in time for Janell and Rich’s rehearsal!  Their wedding will take place tomorrow at the BEAUTIFUL Pheasant Run Bed and Breakfast!  Stay tunned for details from their day :)

Busy busy day

Yesterday was a busy day. It started off with a client meeting in Leola to go over all decor and design set up. Then we headed to Lauxmont Farms in York, PA. Jenna and Ryan will be holding their reception at The Cobble Stone Courtyard in June. It is absolutely beautiful.

While I was there I thought I would take some pictures of the beautiful rotunda for you to see, yet another location at Lauxmont to get married and hold your reception. Check back for pictures of Stephanie and Burt’s wedding in May at the Rotunda.

After my site visits I had another appt. scheduled with Diana who is to get married in September! This wasn’t just any meeting, however our meetings our always fun! Her dress had arrived and she was trying it on, and it was so beautiful!!! It is being kept safely with me, so Scott doesn’t get a sneak peak! Here is a picture of the lovely couple :) I can’t wait for their wedding at Liberty Place.

I am so flattered

One of my daily routines is to check all of my favorite blogs and see what’s new and fun in the wedding world! Well upon checking Kelly Steadman’s blog I came across the most kind and beautiful words said about my work. It made my day! I do my job solely because next to my husband, son, and family, it is the love of my life. Being a part of a couple’s most important day, is so humbling and rewarding.  To see my clients relaxed and enjoying their wedding day to it’s fullest capacity is what I strive for.  Honestly, it is a blessing and a gift that was given to me, and I don’t take what I do lightly.

Tom and Erin’s Wedding

What a BEAUTIFUL day!!! The sun was brightly shining and by the time I got to my car, to head to the reception, the thermostat read a whopping 70 degrees!!

When I arrived at the church, the sun was peeping through the beautiful stained glass window.

Of course I was the first there, so here I am, as I wait for the bridal party.

Ok…programs check, unity candle (well unity sand) check, pew candles check, alter candelabras check! Oh and now the florist, Kelly Steadman, is here….we can pin bouts and get flowers distributed check!

Now off to make sure pictures are underway for the the guys and the girls…the boys were having so much fun getting their pictures taken. They told me this was their favorite pose for the photographer! The girls were a little more traditional :)

Ok, places everybody…it’s time to start. The ceremony went off without out a hitch! I did see Tom looking for his sticker…he was perfectly centered :)

Now, on to the reception. A short 10 min. drive to the Revere Tavern, located on Lincoln Highway. I was able to capture a quick shot of the guests entering and then the one of the wonderful centerpieces designed by All Things Beautiful.

I have to say, Tom and Erin, and their families had a spectacular day! Have a wonderful honeymoon and congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman!!

Wedding Season Begins

Tonight was the first of many rehearsals for 2008, and what a great one it was. Erin and Tom’s rehearsal was a success and so much fun. Tom…you will stand in the right spot tomorrow…promise! I am very excited for tomorrow’s events. Here are two shots of the church I took when I arrived. The wedding is to take place in Leola, with a reception to follow at the Revere.
